Each April, the Rifkind Center seeks applications for the Humanities and Arts Teaching Award. The competition is open to all faculty members in the Division. A sum of $10,000 will be divided among the awardees. To be eligible, faculty must have taught at least 3 semesters at City College.

The winners of the Teaching Award for 2023-24 are:

  • Steven Hernandez (Philosophy)

  • Elyse Singer (Theatre & Speech)

  • Winy Taveras (Music)

  • Olivia Wood (English)
